BIO:
Graeme Shields is a Canadian-born composer and organist. His compositions, influenced by the Lutheran music tradition and the avant-garde, aim to articulate the mysteries of the past, the spirit, and the unknown. His work breathes new life into ancient elements, garnering performances across the US, Canada, and Russia. Graeme is a co-founder of Vital Organ Project; a composer-organist duo that facilitates the creation and performance of new organ music. He holds degrees from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and Western Michigan University.
